When I was in the fifth grade at Sts. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Elementary School & Church, I would do the first & second readings at morning Mass and then between 9 & 10 A.M., I would help Sister Viola our school principal in the office. One day, she asked me to go to the monastery chapel ask Sister Basil to come to the Principals as ASAP. This was early 1970’s. The Monastry housed the Franciscan Monks.
Both Saint John Newman & Blessed Father Seelos spent many years at this church and monastery. The Chapel itself was off limits to children, my visit was a revelation that I cherish to this day. As I entered the large double doors into the Chapel, I was overwhelmed by its beautiful interior and altar.. At the middle of the altar was Sister Basil kneeling with her hands in prayer raised up to her mouth. Beautiful prisms of sun light corsed through the stained glass windows that intersected from both sides of these magnificent works of art to the exact point that Sister Basil was praying.
I was speechless, so kneeled in the last row and watched not to interfere with her prayers. Sister Basil, taught my grandfather, father & me at the school over the year. My family had great respect for her. Anyway, as I watched I heard a sound like bee’s or a transformer buzz fill the Chapel with sound. Then, tongues of fire flicked red & orange flames appeared out of no where and started dancing on the wall and ceiling of the Chapel. They seems to be dancing back & forth with the silent prayers that were eminenting from Sister Basil.
While I was watching, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy & peace come into my heart. I still possess this gift today. The dance of tongues of flames & buzzing continued for about 5 minutes, until Sister finished her prays, when it suddenly came to an end.
Without even turning around, Sister asked me, how can I help you my son. I told her that I was sent by the Principal to ask her to come to the office ASAP. She thank me and told me to tell Sister Viola she would be there soon. I left the monastery chapel absolutely mesmerized by what I just witnessed.
This chapel dated back into the early 1800’s. There were no electronics or light show of any kind present. I was too immature to realize what I just witnessed, but the dream like state filled me with an unspeakable presence. Only several years later, when I asked a priest what I witnessed that day did I realized I was so fortunate to witness the Holy Spirit be present in the prayers of the late Sister Basil. It is a blessing that I will never forget.
Throughout the years, tapping into the Holy Spirit through prayer has allowed me the discernment to seek out other like minded folks and understand medical paradigms especially after my father died, I felt his guidance. My late father was Dr. F.W. Miltenberger. He was trauma surgeon. I also became good friends with Dr. Russell Blaylock M.D.. Aspects of the different fields of medicine and healing all of a sudden open up to me . Of course, my mother was also a natural healer. She helped so many people with stage 3 & 4 cancers live many more years than their diagnosis.
Different terminology that people use to express spiritual connection has always been fine with me as long as the bases is centered in love for each other, while up lifting humanity. That connection is always improved in prayer. Amen!
Yes to all you wrote. I have a small question about your words: we will have a choice about what to experience next. I've stopped being interested in more experiences as a meaningful way to live. If humanity ascends to a harmonious, connected, non-competitive society, that will be enough.
Well said!

very true! I have moments of low as well as high vibration - how do we accelerate our transformation?

That state of bliss would be an experience too. It might also get boring in a few million years 😂
